I was born and raised a Carolina Girl. I moved away from home to go to the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and now my blood runs orange! After majoring in Interior Design, I spent a couple years teaching at UT and working from home. I married Jason Hayes in August, 2001 and we had our firstborn son, Hayden, exactly five years later in August, 2006. We now live in Hendersonville, TN…which is the best of both worlds to us…only 15 minutes to downtown Nashville while still living in the rolling hills of Tennessee! I love reading, exercising, eating all kinds of candy, connecting with friends, and making Hayden laugh more than he cries! My life words are “rejoice, pray, and give thanks,” which come from my life verse, 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18. It is possible in Christ Jesus! My weaknesses are cooking, dancing, singing, and being on time. My strengths(glory to God) are encouragement, teaching, smiling, and just saying no. I am now employed by my son, Hayden, and loving every minute of it!
